Yesterday was quite a day. I woke up at my sweet friends house in Buckhead thinking it would be a beautiful Sunday to really hear Jesus. Things definitely changed within a course of minutes, but let me tell you, we did not just hear Jesus, we saw Jesus.
9:57 and 9:58 am, dad called me 3 times and I didn't answer. Finally I called back to hear the sound of fear. I immediately thought, "dad is having a heart attack", but then he said to me "Goo Noland accidentally shot himself. you need to come now. get mom and come now.". I froze, thinking of the worst as my poor brother is in such pain. I left my friend, Carters house in shock. Crying non stop on 400 with thought of my sweet innocent brother dying. I called a good friend of mine, Logan, and he drove us up to Chattanooga, where my fighting brother is currently in the ICU at Erlanger Hospital. Let me tell you right now there is not a coincidence of events that kept my brother alive. People may say he is so lucky. But it was purely a miracle. Some say that word with such insignificance but I can tell you first hand Noland Glenn, a friend and a true lover of Jesus, is nothing short of a miracle. After hours of waiting, praying and hoping that Christ would heal, we heard news from the doctor who operated on him. He told my parents that everyone in the O.R. was truly amazed in such a miraculous surgery. The doctor told them that the bullet was just centimeters from damaging his aorta artery which would have most likely killed him, it was also very close to going through his spine which would have left him paralyzed. Noland is currently stable and in the ICU trauma wing where he is being taken care of by some incredible people. There is no doubt in my mind that God has made every second of this long term of events all for his glory. As I sit here holding his hand, I see God smiling down on him saying, "Noland keep fighting, with me you can get through this". His hands are so cold. His feet so cold, but I am not worried. I'm so glad his heart is warm and he is breathing another day. I am rejoicing in the fact that the Great Physician has given my brother yet another day to glorify his name. Nono, I am so glad we are blessed with your presence. I know you have a long way to go and pain is very relevant, but keep strong my dear brother and know that we have hundreds praying for you. Fight the good fight and keep being that funny, loving and kindhearted person that everyone knows you as. As of now, we are currently waiting for Noland's second surgery to be scheduled. The bullet is still lodged in his spine and the doctors plan to remove it so that there will be no infection. We are grateful he is able to move his legs and feet and please continue to pray that his surgery will be another miraculous success. I want to thank everyone who has been praying for Noland. You do not know how much it means to us to see so many people overflowing their prayers, love and blessings. As mentioned, continuous prayers are really, truly appreciated. Blessed and grateful for each of you and especially our great Heavenly Father looking over Noland, With love, The Glenn Family

He was an awesome friend to me while at Veritas. He probably doesnt remeber me because of how long ago it was, but I'll never forget when he invited me up to the farm for his birthday party in middle school. I didn't really know anyone there, but he so graciously included me in everything that they did. I know that he is still that same person today and he will perservere through this. Myself and along with a majority of others from the Fellowship Christian community are praying for him, yourself and your family through this tough time. God bless you guys and am praying that the operation goes as planned!

Nolan, I am part of the same prayer team as Cathy Held (Logan. And Landon's Aunt) we are praying for God to wrap his arms around you and your family and for you to heal completely to share your miracle so others can see that we serve a Loving, Merciful, God. If you can access KLove from your room, let God speak to you through the songs. God Bless and keep you in his arms.
