Talking about death can be so scary. It's a morbid topic to so many, but it's something that must be thought about. Death is inevitable. The word "death" or "dying" is a word that has been on my heart a lot lately. The thought of death flashed before my eyes especially this week, when I first heard about my brother. After knowing that my brother is going to live, and make it through this hard chapter in his life, the thought of me, him, you, dying is still resonating. I once heard my pastor, Louie Giglio say, "we are all on our way to our funeral", what a morbid thought. But really we are. Thinking about this day to day shouldn't scare you. It should inspire you, me and everyone to be more proactive in the way we live. Having in mind that my time on earth is limited is such a great reminder to keep continuing to glorify Jesus in everything. "I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid." (NLT) ( John 14:27 ) God has given us a sense of peace about where we will be after our time on earth is done, but from now until then, let us continue to keep in mind that we have so little time to make such a big impact. So why don't we stand up, even on our way to our funeral, and live a life with a purpose and a passion. Isn't that why we are here anyways ? xo, Gabrielle
